I help independent hotels, hostels and Airbnb hosts across the UK and Europe turn superb hospitality into the bookings and ratings they deserve.
Running a great property is one thing. Filling it is another. I owned and ran a top-rated backpacker hostel and learned pretty quickly that being a great host is just the first hurdle. Getting heads in beds comes down to how you present yourself online, and once they arrive, the ratings will follow. The more reviews you collect though, the harder it gets to hold your score. A guest leaving 4 out of 5 sounds positive, but it could be quietly pulling you down.
Better listings. More bookings. Better ratings. Let's talk about your property.
Get in touchI'm Tom. I help independent properties get the bookings and ratings their hospitality deserves.
I spent years working in B2B and B2C sales before buying and running a backpacker hostel. When I took it on, the property already had thousands of reviews averaging in the low 8s on Hostelworld and Booking.com. Pushing that up to the high 9s, when each new review barely moves the needle against that kind of volume, is a different challenge entirely to building a score from scratch. I also took it from a mid 3 to a high 4 on Google and TripAdvisor over the same period.
Having a sales background changed how I thought about the whole thing. A listing is not just a description, it is a pitch. The way you present your property, the words you use, the expectations you set, all of it affects not just whether someone books, but what score they leave when they check out.
On top of running my own property, I have spent years living and working remotely, staying in short term rentals, Airbnbs, hostels and hotels across Europe and the world. I know what good looks like from the guest side too, and more importantly I know what makes people leave a bad review when the stay was actually fine.
I work with independent properties across the UK and Europe. Everything I do is remote, so there are no site visits required and no disruption to your day-to-day. If you want honest, practical advice from someone who has actually run a property, get in touch and tell me where things stand.
Four ways to work together. All done remotely. UK customers are invoiced in GBP at the current exchange rate.
I review your listings across Booking.com, Airbnb, Hostelworld, Google and anywhere else you appear. You get a written report with clear, specific things to fix, and a follow-up to walk through it together. A good starting point if you want to know exactly what is working against you before committing to anything bigger.
I rewrite your listings from scratch across all platforms. Descriptions, headlines, photo captions, house rules, the lot. The goal is SEO-focused copy that gets found, gets people to book, and sets the right expectations so your ratings reflect the stay you actually deliver. Everything is delivered as a document ready to upload straight away.
For properties that want a ground-level view of how they really come across. I visit as a guest, experience the property firsthand, and deliver a full consulting package based on what I find. Available for properties across Europe.
Depending on your needs this can also include a full website build or SEO work. Get in touch to discuss what is right for your property.
Everything in the listings package, plus four to six weeks working through the bigger picture together. Pricing strategy, guest experience, review management, operations. Ongoing retainer available for properties that want continued support beyond that.
Drop me a message and I will come back to you within 48 hours.
Tell me a bit about where things stand and what you are struggling with. No obligation, no sales pitch. Just a straightforward conversation about your property.
